The film Horizons, a collaboration between Rodney Waschka and director Zlatko Cosic, has won another prize, this time at the Stella Artois St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase. Horizons screened on July 21, 2010 at the festival in St. Louis, Missouri and took First Place in the Computer Animation category. Horizons premiered at the Macon Film Festival (February, 2010) where it won 2nd Place in the Experimental Category.
Waschka co-produced and composed the music for the short film. Holmes.
"We feel very fortunate that the film has been so well received in so many different places around the world," Waschka said.
Horizons was also an official selection and was screened at the Byron Bay International Film Festival in Australia in March, at the SoundImageSound Festival in California also in March, at the Herning International Short Film Festival in Denmark in May, and at the Performance and Intermedia Festival in Poland in June.
